So you came here hoping that we would tell you which horse is going to win the next race, eh?
Well, we'll try not to disappoint you!

Of course we'll tell you who we think will win the race.
In fact, we'll tell you who we think should win (or should have won) any race you like: past, present or future.

That's not quite the whole story, though. If we really could accurately predict the winners of horse races, we'd have either won enough money to retire by now or been bought out by a consortium of bookmakers.

The other side of the coin is that anyone can select a horse at random and tell you it will be the winner of the race.
Given enough tries, even the most random selector is bound to have a few winners.

If it's winners you're after, probably the best way to select them would be to simply choose the favourite in each race.
After all, that's why they're called the favourite - because the experts favour them to win. If the experts favour them, surely they must have the best chance.

So why don't we all do that then? Bet on the favourite in each race.
The experts think the favourite should win, so who are we to disagree?
